Deborah Lippmann: Summer 2014 Color Fever Collection Swatches & Review
Hope you all had a fabulous weekend. Now back to our regular scheduled programming. :) The other week, I saw this new collection pop up on Deborah Lippmann’s website and of course, I was all over it like bees to honey! Onto the swatches!
“I Knew You Were Trouble” is a muted blackened blue creme. It doesn’t look too blue in low lights but you can see the blue in brighter light. Very nice and creamy formula. 2 coats.
“Drunk In Love” is a gorgeous red-toned purple grape-y creme. So gorgeous, so unique! I love that it’s a red-toned purple but still has a uniqueness to it. I did 2 coats but one coat would probably suffice!
“Good Vibrations” is a lusciously creamy lilac creme. Excellent, so pretty. Fits perfectly into the color-of-the-year Radiant Orchid category. 2 coats.
“Crush On You” is warm medium pink crelly with a little bit of a muted-ness to it. More muted than it photographed. Very squishy and summer-y. Great formula. 2 coats.
“We Are Young” is a blue-toned magenta crelly. Another super squishy polish with a nice formula. 2 coats.
“The Heat Is On” is a deep rose crelly with red undertones. One of those polishes that’s a bit of a chameleon, sometimes it looks more like a pink-toned red, sometimes it looks like a red-toned pink. Again, great formula. 2 coats.
“Footloose” is an orange-toned red jelly. I’ve had this polish for a few years but it was rereleased as part of this collection so I chose not to repurchase. I decided to add this one into the mix here but I’m not sure if mine is that same as the new one or not. Regardless… pretty! Nice formula. 2 coats.
This collection is an online exclusive to Deborah Lippmann’s website but normally, Deborah Lippmann polishes can be purchased at a number of places including, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Barney’s, Holt Renfrew, Ulta and plenty of online retailers.
