So it’s been about 6 months since I posted any Lippmann’s on my blog. It’s an atrocity! If you’ve been reading my blog for any length of time, you know that Queen Deb makes some of my most beloved polishes. I almost always scoop up the collections she releases! Well I have a bunch of backlogged swatches (from over the holiday’s) that I never got to post and a bunch of them are Deborah Lippmann. I’m hoping to post those soon but since we are in the midst of Spring Fever, I had to post these Spring polishes first!
“Flowers In Her Hair” is a aqua-tinted mint creme. Goes on the nail beautifully and is such a stunning shade. 2 coats.
“Spring Buds” is a precious honey dew melon shade. It’s got the perfect creamy formula that you’d expect from Queen Deb. 3 coats.
“Tip Toe Through The Tulips” is a warm peach creme. You know I love peachy things! ;) It’s a touch streaky on the first coat but evens out nicely in 3 coats.
“La Vie En Rose” is the palest blue-toned pink sheer with a luminous gold and pink shimmer. Beautiful! I thought this would be streaky because of my ridges, so I used a ridge-filling base coat and it went on wonderfully. 2 could would suffice but I did 3 for these photos.
“Build Me Up Buttercup” is a sweet pale yellow with slight brown undertones. It’s like a dirty, warm vintage yellow. And of course, the name is cute and I can’t help but sing the song. :) Formula is a little streaky but with some tender loving care I was able to get it to even out in 2 coats over a ridge-filling base coat.
“Blue Orchid” is a cool-toned pastel blue. Really excellent formula. I was surprised when the first coat went on with no issues. I almost could have gotten away with one coat but ended up doing 2 over a ridge-filling base coat.

Deborah Lippmann Polishes can be purchased at a number of places including Deborah Lippmann’s website, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Barney’s, Holt Renfrew, Ulta and plenty of online retailers.
