Guest Post: Very Emily - Floral Nail Art

Hi everyone! My name is Emily, you may know me from my blog Very Emily! I was so honoured when Valesha asked me to guest post for her - even more so when I found out I’d be posting on her actual birthday! Happy birthday Valesha!!! I hope you are having an awesome day and holiday in sunny Hawaii!

For my guest post I wanted to honour Valesha, seeing as it’s her birthday and all. :) I chose to recreate one of my all time favourite manis of her, the Titus Burgess inspired nails from the 2015 Emmy Awards! Those nails absolutely blew me away when she first posted them so my mind instantly went to them when I was thinking of ideas for my guest post.

I started off with one coat of Cirque Colors Memento Mori, my holy grail black polish. Then I freehanded the florals using acrylic paints and brushes from Born Pretty Store. The gold detail ws done using Girly Bits Cosmetics Golden Ticket and a dotting tool. Finished with a generous coat of Glisten & Glow HK Girl top coat.

Floral prints are definitely my favourite so I simply could not resist recreating these as my homage to Valesha! I really hope you like them Valesha and are having a fabulous day! Please join me in wishing her a happy birthday!
