KBShimmer: Winter 2013 Collection Swatches & Review
Yayayay! It’s time for the second collection for Winter from KBShimmer! This is one picture heavy post so get ready!
“Kringle All The Way” has red, green and silver circles and microglitter in a clear base. This is freakin’ awesome! This is going to be my jam for the Holidays! This is definitely a polish you’ll have to dab on because it is so packed with large glitter. One dabbed coat over OPI “Big Apple Red”.
EDIT: I forgot to mention that this is a charity polish! $4 from each bottle sold between 11/1 & 11/30 will go to benefit Toys For Tots! So generous of KBShimmer to donate to such a deserving charity. ♥
“All Elf’d Up” has red, white and green glitter in a white crelly base. Perfect polish for Christmas! Great formula as always! 3 coats.
“When The Doves Sigh” has royal blue, teal, magenta and silver glitter and shimmer as well as a sprinkling of holographic shimmer in a perfectly gray crelly base. Another typical KBShimmer formula, just fabulous. 2 coats.
“Snow Flaking Way!” is a blurple jelly with holographic glitter in hexes, circles, snowflakes and shimmer! This is GORGEOUS! Such an amazing polish! It looks so multidimensional! It required practically no fishing to get those big snowflakes out. Just leave the bottle sitting upside down for about 5 - 10 minutes and voila. Easy peasy! 2 coats.
“Urban Camo” is a shimmering multichrome that comes off mostly green and taupe. The shimmer is a lovely golden/green and pink. The shift on this is great and it really gives off a camo feel! I did 2 coats over black.

“Shade Shifter” is a multichrome that comes off mostly blue. It has blue and purple shimmer. Does this even need words??? I mean, look at these pics! That’s all you need! 2 coats over black.

“Pigment Of My Imagination” is a multichrome that shows mainly purple and has pink and blue shimmer. I found this to have the most multichrome effect of the bunch, which is saying a lot because they all have an amazing and vivid color shift! But THIS… oh man! Swoon! 2 coats over black.

“Maybe Navy” has really strong blue, purple and holographic shimmer in bright navy jelly base. It has a bit of a duochrome effect but I was not able to capture it well on camera. But WHOA. I did not expect this to be a favorite but this is insane. I could not stop staring. You NEED this. Pictures cannot do this justice in the slightest. 2 coats.
“Rollin’ With The Chromies” is just like “Shade Shifter” but with holographic shimmer added! So much going on here! Love it! 2 coats over black.

“Myth You Lots” is just like “Pigment Of My Imagination” but with loads of holographic shimmer. Just awesome! 2 coats over black.

“Pretty In Punk” is the same as “Urban Camo” but with added holo shimmer. Such a beauty! 2 coats over black.

All of the multichromes & multichrome/holo hybrids had wondeful formulas. I love how versatile they are. They could be worn alone or over a variety of base colors for different looks. As always, KBShimmer really hit the nail on the head with these polishes. I literally don’t think I’d be able to pass up any of them.
