OPI: Hello, Flamingo! Duo - CosmoProf Exclusives

Hello flamingos! Haha! Today I have the Hello, Flamingo! Duo from OPI that is exclusive to CosmoProf. Luckily, my sister is a licensed cosmetologist and was able to pick these up for me! Thanks sis! :)

“Flamingo Tini Pink” is a pretty blue-toned medium pink creme. Adorable color. Decent formula. I used 3 coats over a ridge-filling base coat and it evened out nicely.

“Feel The Mo-heat-oes Green” is a squishy mint green crelly. Wonderful polish. Amazing color. Reminds me a bit of Rescue Beauty Lounge “Fire Queen” but I think “Fire Queen” is a bit more on the jelly side. 3 coats.

As I said, these polishes are exclusive to CosmoProf and can’t be purchased elsewhere as far as I know. Since CosmoProf is a beauty supply store for licensed cosmetologists and nail techs, the general public doesn’t have access to them so you’ll have to find someone who could pick them up for you. You might also keep your eye out on eBay because I would imagine people will sell sets there!

    Does a ridge filling base coat really help over a standard one? I noticed you used it here but also 3 coats of polish. I’ve never used one before. I’m holding off purchasing some new chrome polishes since they show off every imperfection on my nails, especially my peeling tips. I wonder if a ridge filler would actually help. Your advice is appreciated. Thanks!

    After reading your Schleee My Little Pony post yesterday, I immediately looked up these two shades, learnt they were cosmetologist exclusives, and sighed all over the place… And I thought I was done with my disappointment, but now you post full swatches! And they’re so beautiful! And curse CosmoProf exclusives. But there ain’t no way I’m delving into the world of eBay HTFs, so thanks for the Fire Queen suggestion - I’ll be buying that instead :)
