KBShimmer: Core Collection Part 3

Posted on Mar 11, 2013

Today I have the third installment of the KBShimmer’s core collection!

“Cocoa Nut” multiple shades of pink glitters and gold microglitter in a chocolatey brown base. I have swatched this before but I still can’t get over the formula. So creamy and quite possibly the easiest polish to apply… ever! Last time I used 3 coats but this time it was 2 easy coats! (My polishing skills must have improved. Haha!)

“Don’t Teal Anyone” has chartreuse, blue and purple hexes in multiple sizes in a beautiful teal blue base. Stu-HUUUNNNN-ning! The color combo in this, kills me. It’s just so glorious! This is 3 coats.

“Party” is just that, a party in a bottle! So many pretty confetti colored glitters in here! Red and black squares, silver holo diamonds, medium sized blue hexes, small yellow hexes and mini purple, green and blue hexes in a white base. So much going on here! I love it! This is 3 coats!

“Quantum Leaf” has a dark mustard-y yellow base with red, orange and yellow hexes in multiple sizes and a glorious shimmer! I knew I’d love this one from the moment I laid eyes on it… it’s got one of those ugly-pretty base colors that I just adore! And it screams Autumn which is my favorite season so needless to say, this is a favorite of mine! This is 3 coats.

“Radioactive” is a neon green polish with black squares, hexes, bars and shreds. This one also glows in the dark! This was sooooo hard to photograph! It kept wanting to be a pale neon color! It was so odd. I finally got it pretty close to the actual color. I love the color of this one and the black glitter is just awesome. I did find that there was a white powdery thing happening in here. Maybe it’s because I didn’t shake it good enough but you can see it in the close-up shot. It wasn’t noticeable otherwise. I only noticed because I was staring at my nails so closely, inspecting them. :) It didn’t affect the application or formula in the least. This is 2 coats over Color Club “What A Shock!”

There will be one more installment and then the posts of KBShimmer’s current core collection will be done! I wish it could just go on forever. It is no secret, how much I love these. ♥
