Hey there! Today I have KBShimmer’s new collection for Summer 2013! I always look forward to seeing what KBShimmer will come up with next. I am pleased to tell you that I am OBSESSED with this collection. Simply flawless! Get yourself prepared for these. I felt a little more breathless after each swatch. :)
“Blinded By The Bright” has a rainbow of glitter in an intense neon yellow base. It looked like there was a touch of green undertones to my eye. This is like “Oh Splat!” on steroids! And I absolutely adore the name! Perfect coverage in 3 coats!
“Don’t Pink Twice” is an eye-searing neon pink with glowing blue flakies that dries down to a matte finish. I. AM. DEAD. The most perfect neon pink ever! Amazing formula and completely opaque in 3 easy coats.
“Grayscale” is KBShimmer’s take on the black and white glitter trend that’s been popular for the past couple years! And what a great polish it is! With the addition of gray glitter, it sets it apart from the rest of the black and white glitters that are out there. Sensational glitter pickup and no dabbing is required. One coat over “Don’t Pink Twice.”
“It’s Razz-ical” has an explosion of holographic silver glitter in a bold fuchsia jelly base. This one is so glamorous! It looks very multidimensional with the glitters sparkling through the base. It is much more holographic than I was able to capture in my photos. Amazing formula! This is 3 coats.
“Pimp My Pride” has red and cyan blue metallic glitter in a white jelly base. This is going to be my 4th of July polish of choice this year! 3 coats.
“The Dancing Green” has a vibrant kelly green jelly base with purple, blue, light green, dark green and magenta glitter in a plethora of sizes and shapes. The is chock-full of jewel tones which I adore. The green base is stunning. This is 3 coats.
“Totally Tubular” has a bright teal base that leans more toward the blue side of teal, with purple, teal and blue circle glitter in an array of sizes. This polish is definitely tubular, dude! The base color, the circle glitter, the formula!? If this isn’t love, I don’t know what love is! 2 coats!
“What’s Your Damage” has neon pink, neon green and black glitter in lots of shapes in sizes in a white jelly base. It kind of has a punk feel to me which I love! Such an awesome polish! 3 coats.
“24 Carrot Bold” is a traffic cone neon orange with gold shimmer that dries with a matte finish. Bahhhhh! I don’t even have words for the amazingness that is this polish! Formula was perfection once again! I did 3 coats here and you can see VNL slightly but I don’t even care! This is spectacular!
On top of all the polish awesomeness, KBShimmer will also be releasing cuticle oil pens that come in a container with a brush on the end like Stila lip glosses! Let me tell you, these are SO convenient… you have nice control over the amount of cuticle oil you want and they are so easy to take with you wherever you go. I have one in my purse that I reach for quite often now! They also smell terrific and moisturize so well! There are two scents that will be available; “Pink Sugar” which smells like cupcakes and “Lemongrass” which actually smells like donuts to me. Haha! Needless to say, I get hungry every time I wear them! I recommend picking some up! The picture below was borrowed from KBShimmer’s Facebook page as I forgot to snap a couple shots myself! :)

Could you tell me how quick What’s Your Damage dries?
Sometimes I just can’t get my glitter polishes to dry properly..
It didn’t take too long. I don’t remember the exact amount of time but I’d say 30 minutes, but that could be cut down depending on the thickness of each layer and the topcoat you use. If you have a problem with polishes drying, you made need to look into a different base coat. I used to have that issue and I found that a good base coat and a good top coat made all the difference. Good luck!
I HAD to get Don’t Pink Twice. Couldn’t resist. It’s actually my first Indie polish ever! Oh yeah and then maybe I bought It’s Razz-ical and Totally Tubular too…. hehe.
