Hi everyone! I hope you are having a nice weekend! Today I have some makeup to show you coming to you from Milani!

First up is the Powder Blushes.

These are amazing and beautiful too. They feel velvety to the touch and lay so nicely against the skin. They are all matte with no hint of sparkle and are truly the stars of the Spring line.

Romantic Rose: antique shade of rose with mauve undertones.

Tea Rose: happy rose pink.

Coral Cove: bright coral pink.

One swipe of each here.

Next up are Milani’s regular color statement lipsticks and their matte color statement lipsticks.

I’m a huge fan of matte lippies, mostly because I’m not elegant or diligent enough to keep my lipstick looking oh-so-perfect all day or night. So the matte colors here are my favorite. They wear very nicely and aren’t heavy or drying in the slightest and have a nice buttery consistency I actually forgot I was wearing lipstick for a while when I wore one and found that it still looked great! Love them. The matte shades are:

Matte Orchid: a cool-toned medium pink.

Matte Passion: a warm-toned firey red but not orange-y.

Matte Diva: a perfect Barbie pink.

Matte Innocence: a beautiful beige nude.

Matte Glam: a pleasant shade of warm-toned plum.

Matte Blissful: an antique shade of mauve-y pink.

Matte Confident: a vampy blue-toned red.

Matte Naked: a darkened, slightly pink-toned nude.

The regular color statement lipsticks are:

Power Pink: a medium pink with a satin shine.

Catwalk Pink: a carnation pink with a satin shine.

And some back-of-the-hand swatches of them for you all. From top to bottom: Matte Innocence, Matte Glam, Matte Blissful, Catwalk Pink, Matte Confident & Matte Naked

From top to bottom: Matte Orchid, Matte Passion, Power Pink & Matte Diva

Now for the Color Statement Lip Liners!

Lip liners are always my friends because I tend to get feathering on the edges of my lips. These aren’t the greatest ones I’ve ever tried, however. These seem to require quite a bit of pressure and many go-overs to get a good line. This is 6 hard swipes of Fresh Fig (a pinky-red) & Gorgeous Peony (a frosty candy pink):

Now for the Fierce Foil Eyeliners!

I was excited by these but to be honest, they were kind of a let down. I think they’d be nice for eyeshadow but I can’t see ever using them as eyeliner, they just weren’t opaque enough for my taste.

Purple Foil: black with lots of metallic purple.

Black Gold Foil: black with metallic gold foil.

Navy Foil: navy blue with matching foil.

Brown Foil: brown with coppery foil.

Each eyeliner comes with a brush which I found pretty useless if you want to use these as eyeliner! It was too thick and provided little control.

This is 5 swipes of Purple Foil, 2 swipes of Black Gold Foil, 3 swipes of Navy Foil and 3 swipes of Brown Foil.

The Supreme Kohl Kajal is described as black eyeliner. Honestly, I’d say it’s more of a dark gray bordering on being black. I found that after a few swipes, it wouldn’t become anymore black and was quite patchy. In my opinion, there are definitely better black eyeliners out there. This is “Blackest Black”.

Last but not least, we have the Fierce Foil Eyeshine Eyeshadows. These Quads come have shimmering foil-like eyeshadows in an array of colors. You’ll be able to see in my swatches below that some of these were more opaque than others. The more opaque ones are just gorgeous though! You can also see below that some of the colors had oily droplets on them which I thought was odd, but I was able to dab them off easily. The shadows have a bit of a wet or oily feel which I assume is the culprit.

I do love a shimmery gold or copper eye from time-to-time and these are excellent for that. I did find that they didn’t have the greatest staying power so I wouldn’t expect to get a full days wear out them, even with a primer, but they’d be great for a shorter period of time, like a night out.

01 - Milan comes with a pale gold foil, a champagne foil, a brass foil and a copper foil (one swipe of each.)

02 - Rome comes with a lilac foil, a dusty purple foil, a pale pink foil and vibrant plum foil (one swipe of each.)

03 - Florence comes with a shiny copper foil, chocolatey bronze foil, light gold foil and rose gold foil (one swipe of each.)

04 - Venice comes with a pearly white foil, a radiant cobalt foil, a gunmetal tinged denim blue foil and an iced sky blue foil (one swipe of each.)

Here is a look I did for dinner with the in-laws one night using some of the Milani products for Spring. I used the 03 - Florence Fierce Foil Eyeshine Quad, Powder blush in Tea Rose, Color Statement Matte Lipsticks in Matte Confident and Matte Passion to create an ombre lip along with the Color Statement Lip Liner in Fresh Fig.

What do you guys think? Do you see anything that you have to have? Have you tried any of these or other Milani products before?

Milani products are available on Milani’s website! They are also available at some drug stores such as CVS and Walgreens.
