Today I have the second half of the Shimmer Polish swatches! They all had really great formulas and were so easy to paint evenly on the nail despite being packed full of glitter!
“Candace” has magenta, gold holo and black glitter in a clear base. I think this is my favorite out of all the Shimmer Polish’s I swatched! It looked so edgy in the bottle. I could definitely picture myself wearing it to go out dancing! This is one coat over Essie “Armed And Ready.”
“Alessandra” has mostly coral red colored glitter with some silver and multicolored glitter mixed in. It definitely leans more red than pink or orange. So pretty. This is one coat over OPI “Hot & Spicy” (which photographed really red for some reason! It’s more of a reddish orange in real life.)
“Cristina” has dark green, teal and fuchsia glitter in a clear base. It kinda reminds me of a finer milled version of CrowsToes “Jingle Balls” it’s got that same Christmas kind of feeling and color scheme but in much smaller glitter. I loved “Jingle Balls” so of course, I love this too! This is one coat over Sally Hansen “Ivory Skull.”
“Jasmine” reminded me of Princess Jasmine from the movie Aladdin right off the bat! Aqua blue glitter is the star in this one with some multicolored glitter making a small appearance. This one is gorgeous as well and whether Shimmer Polish meant to or not, they captured Princess Jasmine perfectly! This is one coat over Kleancolor “Vikini Green.”
“Lucie” has silver and red glitter in a clear base. I wore this as a gradient one day (as I said in Part 1 ) and I was so smitten with it! I took a picture with my iPhone that I will post below. For my swatch, I used one coat over Color Club “Sheer Disguise.” For my gradient, I used OPI “Don’t Touch My Tutu!” as the base and did a gradient starting at the tips of my nails and fading towards the base.
“Maria” is made up of multiple shades of blue glitter in a clear base. Very eye-catching and the different shades of blue make it look multidimensional! This is one coat over Julep “Leah.”
“Mary” has red, silver, silver holo and black glitter in a clear base. I liked that this one (and “Maria”) both had some bigger hex pieces in the mix! This is one coat over Butter London “HRH.”
