Happy Halloween!: More Halloween Nail Art

Happy Halloween! Who’s dressing up today!? I’m totally lame and I’m not dressing up unless I can find my cat ears from a past Halloween. But nails… done and DONE! :) I hope you enjoy the last of the Halloween nail art until next year!

After I did my Corpse Bride inspired watermarble a couple weeks ago, someone said I should do a Jack Skellington inspired one. DUH, why didn’t I think of that! I love The Nightmare Before Christmas so that was a no-brainer! I used Nicole by OPI “Yoga Then Yogurt” as the base and then used YTY, OPI “A Roll In The Hague” and Essie “Licorice” for the marble. I used YTY and L for my Jack accent nail. Not my best work but man, I do love The Pumpkin King!

I Bought This!

Another edition of Undie Sunday tonight. If you don’t know what Undie Sunday is here at Peachy Polish, it’s where I post swatches of polishes I’ve used underneath other polishes I’ve already posted! Most if not all of these have been worn under glitter topcoats from past posts!

Butter London “HRH” is a electric purple metallic! One of my fave purples! 2 coats.

HARE polish: Spring 2013 The Last Queen Of France Collection - The Jellies

Today I have the first half of HARE Polish’s new collection for Spring! HARE Polish always turns out the most incredible and unique color combinations. I think they are one of the brands that sets the bar for other indie makers. Great quality products for realistic prices with clever and well thought-out ideas. The 5 polishes I have for you today are the jelly based polishes from the Collection.

“Rococo Grandeur” has gold and pale pink glitter and sparkling blue microshimmer in a baby blue jelly base. The microshimmer was nearly impossible to photograph but it was more apparent in person. Before I even realized that this collection was named “The Last Queen of France”, I immediately thought of Marie Antoinette. Absolutely stunning! This is 2 coats over OPI “I Vant To Be A-Lone Star.”

Shimmer Polish: Swatches & Review Part 2

Today I have the second half of the Shimmer Polish swatches! They all had really great formulas and were so easy to paint evenly on the nail despite being packed full of glitter!

“Candace” has magenta, gold holo and black glitter in a clear base. I think this is my favorite out of all the Shimmer Polish’s I swatched! It looked so edgy in the bottle. I could definitely picture myself wearing it to go out dancing! This is one coat over Essie “Armed And Ready.”

KBShimmer: Core Collection Part 3

Today I have the third installment of the KBShimmer’s core collection!

“Cocoa Nut” multiple shades of pink glitters and gold microglitter in a chocolatey brown base. I have swatched this before but I still can’t get over the formula. So creamy and quite possibly the easiest polish to apply… ever! Last time I used 3 coats but this time it was 2 easy coats! (My polishing skills must have improved. Haha!)

KBShimmer: Core Collection Part 2

Hello lovelies! Today I have part 2 of KBShimmer’s collection of core polishes. If you missed it, don’t forget to check out part 1!

Before I get started, have you guys noticed the new bottles KBShimmer has? The logo is now printed directly on the bottle in either white or black, depending on the color of the polish in the bottle. It looks really professional and I love how easy it is to read. The name of each polish is now on the bottom with a a list of ingredients! Very cool. In my next KBShimmer post, I will give you a more detailed look at the bottle, so keep your eyes peeled for that. :)

“Bejeweled” has multiple sizes of hex glitters in purple, teal, blue and copper in a clear base. As with every KBShimmer polish I have had the fortune of trying, the formula is excellent. Super easy glitter pickup and application was a cinch. This is one coat over OPI “My Vampire Is Buff.”
