NCLA: Shimmers & Metallics

Hello lovelies! Today I have some more swatches from NCLA!

“Bel Air Trophy Wife” is a light bronze metallic polish with little bits of gold in there. I actually wore this when I was a bridesmaid in my sister’s wedding this summer and I wore a dusty rose colored dress and it almost matched it! It was like it took on the color I was wearing. Very cool. 3 nice and easy coats for opacity on this one and no streakiness!

China Glaze Halloween 2012 Wicked Collection

Good evening boys and ghouls! (Hah!) We are on the eve of Halloween now and I have another set of swatches for ya! This is China Glaze’s Halloween Collection for 2012.

“Bizarre Blurple” is a shimmery blurple that leans more towards blue than purple (on me at least.) It is so opaque and very gorgeous! I almost got away with 1 coat, but this is 2 coats.

Sonoma Nail Art 2012 Halloween Collection

Quick post today and another post on the way tonight! This first one is Sonoma Nail Art‘s Halloween Collection for 2012!

“Deadly Zins” has red, burgundy and purple glitter in a clear base. This is similar to Dollish Poish “Vampire’s Coven” and Lynnderella “Very Pretty Vampire” except for it’s clear base, which I think makes it more versatile. This is one coat over Deborah Lippmann “Let It Bleed”

Candy Lacquer 2012 Halloween Collection

This post is sooooo late! It’s been a busy day. But I wanted to squeeze as much Halloween goodness into the next few days as I can. Tonight I have 4 polishes from Candy Lacquer’s 2012 Halloween Collection!

“Halloween Candy” is a glitter top coat with green, white, black, red and orange glitters in a clear base. There are small and large hex, small and large bar, square and small round glitters in the mix here. It truly looks like a bowl of candy! The thing I love about Candy Lacquers is how flat the glitter lays. It is pictured without a top coat here and the glitter is completely flush to my nail. Curl-less glitter = happy customer! This is one coat over Zoya “Pippa”.

Lynnderella: She Lived In A Swamp

Today I have just a single Lynnderella for you but it’s one of the Lynnderella’s I wanted the most back before I had any. I’ve been waiting so long to try it because I wanted to wait until around Halloween. It was worth the wait!

“She Lived In A Swamp” is a green glitter bomb in a clear base. So many different shades of green and even some green holographic pieces. All kinds of sizes in here too; large and small hexes, bars, squares and microglitter. It looks just like a swamp albeit a pretty, glittery swamp, especially over the base color I used! My bottle is the old formula. This is 2 coats over Sparitual “Optical Illusion.”

Lynnderella can be bought at their Ebay store. Polishes from regular lines are sold as buy it now and limited edition and discontinued polishes are sold as auctions.
